Tropical Snow

December has just arrived,
The sky has been grey ever since,
Winter soltice is just around,
Tropical lands has their own soltice
Our own version of snow..

Tropical snow is heavy,
Nor does it comes in flakes,
Instead it land in drops,
No fancy motives in each,
Just purely three molecules,
Scientifically known as H2O..

Blessed are we with tropical snow ,
Seeds blooms instead of dormant,
Dry up ponds laugh with joy,
Along with fishes and weeds,
Children runs out to play,
Embracing the tropical snow..

Farmer could not be happier,
To see their greening crops,
But fisherman begins to worry,
For the seas starts to roar,
Fishese are less available,
Their income begins to shake..

When tropical snow turns violent,
It floods the entire city,
No laughters can be heard,
Faint cries and sighs begins,
Crops and objects are destroyed,
It even causes death...

Tropical snow, tropical snow,
Gives out beautiful print,
Splattered on my window pane,
Makes me feel lights and fresh,
Occasional cold wind that blew,
Send the chills up my spine...

Yet,
its the best season around,
Better known as monsoon,
For those living near the equator..
