Seasons of My Life: The Second
Summer plains echoes in choruses,
Afternoon breeze teases it gently,
Drifting subtly into my daydream,
Yesteryear seems like yesterday,
An uncanny feeling surfaced sometimes,
A type of loss always lingers,
Strange but old ...
I see it and I don't..
I woke up with wings,
No more roots and buds,
I have a human-like form,
A leap to a nearby land, I took,
Lured by the haunting tune,
That always rings in my ear,
Originated from afar,
Now I could seek it,
With my new given ability,
Lying helplessly on the soil no more..
A group of fairies dances in joy,
One piper boy and two piper girls,
Another 2 with strings that duets in tune,
A music empire that always welcomes,
Every night the ensemble comes alive,
Many restless hearts for music unites,
Even my own repressed heart was lured,
Once was thought almost impossible,
Now its happening..
Daffodil clan remains in memory..
A new beginning emerges today,
A golden metaphoric summer,
It's warm and exciting,
Where the meadows never looked better,
And the air has never been more fragrant..
